Encuentro Exitoso con BronxWorks y Casa Yurumein sobre Asuntos Migratorios

On Thursday, February 1, 2024, in collaboration with Casa Yurumein, we were honored to host representatives from BronxWorks, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing social services in the Bronx. During this event, representatives shared valuable information and offered assistance on immigration issues.

The response from the community was overwhelming, with a significant number of people present for guidance and support. In fact, the demand was so high that the two lawyers present were overwhelmed by the number of inquiries. We spoke with the BronxWorks representative, who expressed her commitment to our community. Despite the overwhelming attendance, he assured that they are willing to organize another event to cater to those who could not receive assistance this day.

It is important to note that the services offered by BronxWorks are recognized and accredited by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). These services include free counseling for TPS (Temporary Protected Status) applications for Hondurans, assistance with asylum applications, and guidance in citizenship processes, as well as other immigration applications.

We appreciate the active participation of the community and the continued commitment of organizations like BronxWorks to provide essential support to those who need it most in immigration matters. Stay tuned for more information on future events and services.

Together we build a path to a more secure and unified future!
