We build and preserve a community infrastructure of economic, cultural, social and spiritual sustainability. As members of the community, we all contribute to its development. Each member performs a function which is important and each activity complements the other. Unity is an ongoing process with ups and downs but reflected in actions and manifested in love for the community. We come from autonomous processes with capacities to create our own routes focused on the preservation of the self. The Garifuna community and Afro-descendants are in search of mechanisms to generate synergies in a changing dynamic in the face of the challenges of this century.
